Dataset context and content
The dataset contains tweets about and from Nigerian Presidential Election (2023) candidates. The dataset is collected by Gabriel Preda and Nimah Masuud (Preda and Kehinde 2023) using tweepy and Twitter API and updated daily on Kaggle.

INEC Nigeria Tweets
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), established in 1998 is the electoral body tasked with overseeing elections in Nigeria. It is chaired by Professor Mahmood Yakubu, a Nigerian academic who was appointed to office by President Muhammadu Buhari on 21 October, 2015.
